Terms of Service

Please read these terms before using PrepoAI.
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and PrepoAI ("PrepoAI LC," "PrepoAI," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. The Service
PrepoAI provides tools to help you practice for interviews and improve your preparation. The Service is for practice and informational purposes.
3. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity under your account.
You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it updated. We may suspend or terminate accounts to protect the Service or if you violate these Terms.
4. Purchases, Pricing, and Taxes
Some features require payment. Pricing is displayed at checkout or on our pricing pages and may change over time. Taxes may apply depending on your location.
Payments are handled through a payment processor. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
Refunds
To the fullest extent permitted by law, purchases are non-refundable. Where consumer protection laws require refunds (including certain EU/UK consumer rights), we will comply with those laws.
Gift Sessions
We may offer gift codes or gifted sessions. Gift codes have no cash value, may not be resold, and may be revoked if we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse, or unauthorized distribution.
5. Your Content and License
You retain ownership of content you upload or submit (such as your resume/CV, job descriptions, and interview responses) ("User Content").
You grant PrepoAI a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, process, and use your User Content solely to provide, maintain, and improve the Service for you. This license ends when you delete the relevant content or your account, subject to reasonable retention for legal, security, and operational purposes as described in our Privacy Policy.
Sensitive Information
Do not upload unnecessary sensitive personal information (such as government ID numbers, financial account numbers, or medical information). You are responsible for the content you provide and for having the rights to provide it.
6. AI and Generated Outputs
The Service may use automated tools (including AI) to provide features and generate materials for your practice ("Outputs").
No guarantees: Outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete and are not professional advice. PrepoAI does not guarantee interview outcomes or employment results.
Model training: We do not use your User Content to train our own general-purpose AI models.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service lawfully and strictly for its intended purpose. You will not misuse the Service, infringe upon any rights, interfere with its operation or security.
8. Third-Party Services
The Service may integrate with or rely on services provided by others (for example, hosting, payments, and analytics). We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.
9. Intellectual Property
The Service and its content (excluding User Content) are owned by PrepoAI or its licensors and are protected by applicable laws. You receive a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms.
If you provide feedback, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use it without obligation to you.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PrepoAI LC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PrepoAI LC and its affiliates from claims arising out of your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
13. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account through your dashboard settings. We may need to suspend or terminate your access if these Terms are violated, if required by law, or to ensure the security and integrity of our Service.
14. Disputes, Governing Law, and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
Any legal action arising out of or related to the Service must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Salt Lake County, Utah, and you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue there.
Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at contact@prepoai.com so we can try to resolve the dispute informally.
15. Changes
We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will post updated Terms with a new "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
